The wire-wound resistor body is placed in a square porcelain frame, which is heat-resistant and has special non-combustibility.

It is made of cement filling and sealing. There are two types of cement resistors: ordinary cement resistors and cement wound resistors. The appearance of the cement resistor is shown in the figure. Cement resistance is a wire-wound resistance. It is a high-power resistor, allowing a larger current to pass. Its function is the same as that of general resistance, but it can be used in large current occasions, such as connecting in series with a motor to limit the starting current of the motor, and the resistance value is generally small. Cement resistors are widely used in power adapters, audio equipment, audio frequency dividers, instruments, televisions, automobiles and other equipment due to their large size, impact resistance, moisture resistance, heat resistance, good heat dissipation, and low price.
